The first few months of the pandemic brought global lockdowns and travel restrictions that appeared to grind the world to a halt. Workers in the anti-trafficking sector were asked “has trafficking reduced?” Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.

For the past two years now, global business consulting firm, Deloitte, has been helping the Chab Dai organization grow in leaps and bounds. Chab Dai was selected from a pool of 70 other organisations around the world to begin a program that has since led us to be a more professional and sustainable organization.

A few weeks ago we had two students, Souphea and Rachana, join Vantha and Songg in our Advocacy Team. The students are in their 3rd year of studying International Studies at RUPP University. They will be volunteering with us for the next two months. We asked them what made them apply to work for Chab Dai.

Heather Huber volunteered with Chab Dai from Jan - March 2020, assisting us with marketing and media. She interviewed and photographed each of our staff members about Chab Dai’s core values. She also filmed videos to share the vision, objectives, and outcome stories for each team.
