Chab Dai’s Community Heroes Prevention Project (CHPP) started in January 2013.
Its main objective is to strengthen the protection frameworks in vulnerable communities by identifying, and partnering with local leaders and volunteer ‘Community Heroes’, who can share useful information about the dangers of human trafficking, sexual abuse, exploitation, and unsafe migration.
Our Community Heroes actively advocate in their communities and, together with local leaders they support possible target families and work with family members to identify the signs of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and to help each other be aware of the risks of trafficking or exploitation.
The project aims to pretect vulnerable communities ensuing they are empowered to ensure the safety of one another against human trafficking and sexual abuse, and apply safe migration practices with the support of local leaders, government and NGOs.
