Building off of the overwhelming success and positive feedback from our first ever Asia Region Anti-Trafficking Conference we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the next conference in Bangkok on February 25-28, 2019! Please visit www.aratconference.com for all the latest information.
As we are still in the process of selecting speakers and topics, we wanted to reach out and collect your initial thoughts. It is our goal for this conference to be beneficial to as many organizations as possible. To do so, we want to ask a few questions that we hope you have time to answer. Goal: "The conference aims to strengthen networking and capacity building of practitioners providing direct service in Cambodia via creating opportunity for them to share skills and expertise as well as to discuss how to address certain challenges and difficulties encountered in their daily practices.
For conference’s feature, the first day is expected to have multiple important presentations of direct social service: Mental wellbeing; Social work standard; Prevention of domestic violence on women and children in community and Gender equity awareness. A complete agenda will be available at a later date.
The second day, we have four different workshops: Supporting Family with mental health issue, Positive Parenting, Professional Counseling Supervision and Basic and Professional standard of counseling. These all day workshops will be facilitated by senior trainers.
Note: Materials, refreshment and lunch are provided.
Contribution Fee: 10.00 USD per person for whole two days.
